Love the Boot Week
On Thursday, Apr. 10, Rosedown will be participating in the annual “Love the Boot Week,” Louisiana’s largest, state-wide litter removal and beautification effort. Volunteers are invited to join site staff in helping to beautify our State by cleaning Rosedown’s frontage acreage along Louisiana Highway 10.
Rosedown State Historic Site is located on LA Highway 10 in St. Francisville, 30 minutes north of Baton Rouge, off US Highway 61. The site is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Guided tours of the main house are provided on the hour, beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding with the final tour of the day at 4 p.m.
