Chili Cook-off at Parker Park, 5730 Commerce Street in St. Francisville. Time: Register and set-up at 7:45 a.m.; meeting of the head chefs at 8 a.m.; three-hour cooking period 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; taste testing and judging 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.; awards and winners 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Categories: best adult chili, best youth chili, most colorful chili, and spiciest chili. Enter four-member youth teams for $50 or adult teams for $100. Taste tickets are $5. This event benefits West Feliciana high school and middle school dance programs.
