A Jane Austen Christmas, Audubon State Historic Site, St. Francisville. On Saturday night, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the plantation comes to life during the holidays as it shows off its seasonal decorations. Costumed guides accompany the visitor in a trip into the past through the candlelit Oakley House. Take a taste of what’s cooking in the kitchen, enjoy our yearly Christmas dance, and enjoy music by the Lagniappe Dulcimers. Chestnuts will be roasting and wassail served.
